About The Role,
Atlantis, Dubai is the iconic destination of Dubai whose mission is to bring everlasting memories to our guests. We deliver the extraordinary through our A team of Colleagues who are passionate about guest service and satisfaction. We have an exciting opportunity in our Employee Marketing team for someone who lives and breathes colleague engagement and events. Working closely with the Director of Internal Communications and Engagement, you will be responsible for designing, developing and executing a programme of exciting internal events that creatively drive colleague engagement.
The sun never stops shining at Atlantis and we are looking for someone who can take the lead on Colleague Social Events that we will be running throughout the year. From strategy to delivery, you will work on various events and colleague engagement activities at our Colleague Residences. These can range from Sports, Cultural, Social and Recreational.
You will be required to spot opportunities and come up with innovative ideas that would surprise and delight our colleagues. You will also work with key stakeholders to develop our Colleague Social Events Calendar so that we are well prepared for delivering a 5-star colleague experience.
Preferred candidate will ideally have experience and knowledge of working in the hospitality industry. Must have 3-5 years of experience in event, content and delivering large scale internal colleague events. must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to make great judgements, Interpersonal skills and the ability to network with all areas of the business and experience with Budgets.
The manager is tasked to build and foster collaborative relationships with other departments within the organization to stay informed and abreast of new initiatives, products, and services.
Contribute to the preparation of the department budget and monitor the financial performance of a given area versus the budget so that areas of unsatisfactory performance are identified, rectified promptly and potential performance improvement opportunities are capitalized upon.
